Rising Obesity in Kids Shows Need for Healthy Snacks, Says Ron Puryear

“Snacking can be part of a healthy lifestyle, say Dean Kosage of IBO trade association. According to a recent study for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) every state in the U.S. has a child obesity rate exceeding 15% compared to just 4 states 10 years ago. “Parents are concerned for their children’s health and want to do something about it,” says Ron Puryear of the Independent Business Owners Association International (www.IBOAI.com) “Our members, Quixtar Independent Business Owners, have healthy snacks for kids without added fat and calories.”
